Little known secrets of fiancé visa interviews and green card interviews from an attorney with 20 years of experience

The Sacramento Bee ran on article recently by Peter Schrag titled On Immigration, demography is destiny about the importance of immigrants and their children to the future of California.

The article cites University of Southern California demographer Dowell Myers.  Myers position is that we (Californians) had better educate immigrant kids because our economy, pensions, and home values depend on it.

“Who’s going to pay for the Social Security, pensions and spiking medical care of the millions of boomers who are beginning to retire now? Who will replace them in the work-force? The people who are retiring now are the most skilled, best-educated generation in our history. Who will have equal-or ideally, even greater-skills? Who will have the money to buy the retirees’ homes and maintain them? Who will have the income to pay the state and federal taxes to pay off the deficit?”

“Equally important since more than half the students in California’s schools are Latino-a fourth are officially (and some probably unnecessarily) classified as English learners-it will be immigrants who will constitute a great share of that workforce.”

The article also states that in the past generation the Mexican birthrate has shrunk dramatically and that the Mexican economy has improved dramatically.  Both of these trends have lessened substantially the pressure to emigrate to the United States.

The article concludes that  there may come a time, “maybe in the not too distant future, when we’ll be intensively recruiting workers abroad-as we often have in the past-and not try to keep them out.”

    TEMPORARY VISA

Our experience was amazing. The process was smooth. Larry and Jason helped us every step of the way to get my husband’s temporary visa. When I started getting anxiety about how long it takes, what’s the next step or what if’s, I would call either of them and they had no problems giving me answers. Jason went with us to our meeting with immigration, and made us laugh the whole time. He really helped keep me calm as I suffer from anxiety very badly. A year later, I can still call Larry and ask questions about the next step. I’m very thankful I found these guys!!! Highly recommend them!
